Years 7 and 8 are looking at storytelling in their Creative Arts sessions. In ICT we are going to use animation to tell the story using a cartoon from 1965 as inspiration. “The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics” was created by Chuck Jones and won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film. The reason I chose this cartoon as inspiration was because of the way it used simple shapes but gave them emotions and characters through the use of colour, movement and sound. Here is the cartoon. |
